The lake is 1 km long and 0.5 wide.

According to local legend, the lake is poisonous hence the name "poison lake"

its believed that water has madicinal properties but can be harmful if consumed in excess.

3-Dak bunglow is located in upper sangdorji rinchenpong bazar.

The bunglow was built by Britishers during the British colonial period for the propose of accommodation or stay when kings officer's or some important political delegation from east indian company' were on a visit to the region.

4-Maggi dara-maggi dara is monastery in rinchenpong, west Sikkim, India that is known for its beautiful Wall paintings and views of the Himalayan sunrise.
